Tonight features only six games on the main slate, which means there aren’t that many options to choose from. This article features the top guard and forward picks. If you want an optimal lineup that is updated throughout the day, DM me on Twitter @jackstatsblog.
$10,500 John Wall- Wall should have a field day against the New York Knicks. Without sufficient perimeter defenders, the Knicks have allowed top point guards to have excellent games against them. Wall is able to rack up numbers in both the steals and assists columns, which gives him a high floor as well as a high ceiling.
Recent Performances: 9/10
Ceiling : 7/10
Second best point guard option: Jrue Holiday, 6.5/10
$6,200 Lou Williams- In the absence of DeAngelo Russell, Williams has truly shined. He flashed 50 fantasy potential by torching the Portland Trail Blazers for 48.3 fantasy points last Wednesday. He draws an excellent matchup against the Denver Nuggets who play at a fairly high pace. As long as the game doesn’t turn into a blowout, Williams should be able to hit 5x value.
Recent Performance: 8/10
Second best shooting guard option: Courtney Lee (If Derrick Rose doesn’t play), 6/10
$7,000 Danilo Gallinari- If Wilson Chandler does not suit up, Gallinari should see extended time on the court. His ceiling is limited due to the fact that most of his fantasy appeal is centric to his scoring ability.
Recent Performance: 7.5/10
Second best small forward option: Brandon Ingram (If Joseph Randle does not play), 6/10
$6,900 Markieff Morris- This has been one of my favorite plays over the past week, and I will continue to ride the hot hand. He draws a decent matchup with the Knicks, and as long as the game stays close, Morris should hit at least 5x value. The best stack of the night will be John Wall and Markieff Morris.
Recent Performance: 9.5/10
Second best power forward option: LaMarcus Aldridge, 7/10.
