My success has been pretty good in DFS tournaments so far, and hopefully that carries over tonight. Tonight features a strong ten game slate so it will be fairly simple to make contrarian picks. If you want a lineup for tonight that will be updated throughout the day, DM me on Twitter @jackstatsblog.

Point Guard: $9,700 Stephen Curry

Curry is by far the top point guard option out there tonight. Recently he has looked like he did during his MVP campaign last year. He should be able to easily attain 5x value, and should be able to get 6x value if the game doesn’t turn into a blowout. The second best option here is Brandon Jennings as long as Derrick Rose does not suit up.

Shooting Guard: $6,000 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

Caldwell-Pope will be my favorite contrarian play for tonight. Since there are plenty of other shooting guards to choose from, Caldwell-Pope should not be that highly owned. He is a risky play, but he offers excellent upside.

Small Forward: $9,700 Kawhi Leonard

Leonard draws an excellent matchup tonight against the Denver Nuggets. If Aldridge doesn’t play tonight, Leonard’s usage should be off the charts. He has a very high chance of achieving 5x value. The second best option here is Wilson Chandler. However, that pick hinges on whether Danilo Gallinari plays or not.

Power Forward: $6,100 Ersan Ilyavosa

Ilyavosa has had en excellent recent stretch of games, and that should continue against the Miami Heat. He has potential to hit 45 fantasy points as long as Joel Embiid continues to be injured. Another very strong option here is Nikola Jokic, although he comes with a very steep price tag.

Center: $6,700 Marcin Gortat

Gortat has a fairly high floor since he is practically a double-double machine. He has put together an excellent string of games, and he should continue that against the New Orleans Pelicans.
