Tonight will be the last night of games before the NBA hits pause for the All-Star Break. There will be fourteen games featured tonight, meaning player ownership will be spread around and it will be simple to be a contrarian.
Point Guard: $7,700 Mike Conley- Conley should easily be able to achieve 5x value against the Pelicans as they have been horrible at defending point guards this year. He is a safe pick with a very high ceiling. There are a lot of other point guard options to choose from, so his ownership should be fairly low.
Point Guard: $5,300 Jameer Nelson- With Emmanuel Mudiay sidelined, Nelson has thrived as the starting point guard in Denver. For as long as Nelson is starting, he will be a high-quality play. His ownership will be very high, but it makes no sense to be a contrarian here. Darren Collison is another solid play.
Shooting Guard: $6,400 Will Barton- If Wilson Chandler sits out, Barton will be primed for another big game. His price is climbing, but he should be able to get you 5x value even at this price point.
Shooting Guard: $7,400 Nicholas Batum- His ownership is never very high so if he has a big game you will be put in a very good spot. Tatum’s ability to rack up volume numbers in categories other than scoring only adds to his appeal.
Small Forward: $4,500 Aaron Gordon- Gordon’s price has dropped exponentially, giving him a possibility to attain 10x value. With Serge Ibaka now playing for a new team, Gordon should see more minutes at the four.
Small Forward: $7,700 Gordon Hayward- He has been playing extremely well as of late and tends to fly under the radar. Hayward draws an increase in pace in his matchup with the Trail Blazers, which should help his stats.
Power Forward: $5,000 Channing Frye- Kevin Love will not be playing tonight, which means Frye should receive another starting nod. The odds of him netting you 8x value is very high.
Power Forward: $4,700 Ryan Anderson- This price seems a little too low for a player like Anderson. It will be difficult for him not to give you 5x value.
Center: $11,100 DeMarcus Cousins- He draws an excellent matchup with the Golden State Warriors, a team that Nikola Jokic recently abused for 59 fantasy points. Something higher than that is not out of the picture for Cousins as long as the game stays close.Follow @jackstatsblog
