Pitcher: $5,700 Jeff Hoffman- This is a bit risky of a play, but at this price Hoffman has boatloads of potential. In a start last week Hoffman had a 37 fantasy point game and should be able to have an even better one tonight. Most of the flame-throwing righty’s value comes in his strikeout potential. He accrued eight last week in only five and a third innings work so hopefully he can build on that against the struggling Phillies.

Catcher: $3,400 Alex Avila- Brad Peacock will start in the place of Dallas Keuchel who recently went on the DL. Avila has been crushing righties this year and Peacock is far from the best. His home run and big game potential makes him my favorite catcher play for tonight.

First Base: $3,900 Chris Davis- Davis draws an excellent matchup with Kyle Gibson and his 8.20 ERA. Most of his value is based upon his ability to hit the ball out of the park so there is perpetual risk in starting Davis. However, his big game potential trumps the potential risk.

Second Base: $3,100 Brad Miller- The Tampa Bay Rays are a potential stack option as they will face the inexperienced J.C. Ramirez. Miller fares much better against right handed pitching so he should be able to turn in a solid performance.

Third Base: $4,300 Jake Lamb- His price tag has been steadily increasing, and even though it is almost becoming too difficult to bear, the matchup is too strong to pass up on. His recent streak of games helps to mitigate the risk that comes with Lamb. He has big game potential anytime he is facing a righty pitcher and will face a subpar one tonight in Miguel Gonzalez.

Shortstop: $3,000 Didi Gregorius- Even though he himself is a lefty, Gregorius does most of his damage against left handed pitchers. He has a bit of pop in his bat as he hit 20 homers last year which means there is potential for Gregorius to have a big game.

Outfield: $3,100 David Peralta- Peralta, who absolutely obliterates righties, should be in for a solid game. He should be well rested after sitting out last nights game, and will hopefully keep his hot streak rolling against Miguel Gonzalez and the White Sox.

Outfield: $4,100 Corey Dickerson- Dickerson is another player on the Rays who I feel is in for a big game. He has turned in plenty of strong performances this year and tonight should be no different.

Outfield: $4,400 J.D. Martinez- Martinez has enjoyed an excellent start to the season and should continue to roll against Brad Peacock. Martinez has looked unstoppable at times and Peacock will be faced with a herculean task if he wants to slow Martinez down. Another huge day at the plate should be in the works for Martinez.
