Pitcher: $9,200 Robbie Ray- There is a paucity of solid starting pitcher plays for tonight, yet it looks like Robbie Ray will be in for a strong outing on the bump. Left handed pitchers such as Ray have been able to stifle the Milwaukee Brewers offense at times this year. The matchup is there for Ray to put together a dominant performance on the mound.

Catcher: $3,200 Alex Avila- Avila has been one of the best catchers in the MLB this year and he should be able to continue that roll tonight. Avila, who does most of his damage against righties, will face a subpar one in Mike Fiers. The home run potential is always there, meaning he could have a big game on any given night.

First Base: $3,300 Mitch Moreland- He should be in for a solid game as he is set to face Nick Martinez. Moreland tends to perform well in matchup with below-average righties such as Martinez. Because of Moreland’s propensity to hit doubles, there is always a solid floor as well as a relatively high ceiling.

Second Base: $2,300 Chase Utley- If Utley is in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting lineup, he will be a quality DFS play. His price point is very low, meaning he could end up being a great value play. The veteran Utley fares much better versus right handed pitchers, making it a good thing that he will face one in Michael Wacha.

Third Base: $2,700 Nicholas Castellanos- With a dearth of options at third base (I don’t feel Jake Lamb is worth the $4,100 price tag), playing Castellanos makes the most sense. Albeit the fact that he has struggled in his last three games, the potential is always there for Castellanos to have a big night at the plate. At this price the reward is definitely worth the risk.

Shortstop: $2,700 Elvis Andrus- Andrus will face the lefty Drew Pomeranz in what will be a positive matchup for him. Since he is an excellent contact hitter, Andrus always has a solid floor and his home run potential gives him a relatively high ceiling.

Outfield: $3,400 David Peralta- Peralta absolutely obliterates right handed pitchers, making his matchup with Zach Davies excellent. He struggled in his last two games, but hopefully that is all in the past. Peralta should be able to turn in an excellent performance at the plate.

Outfield: $4,500 Michael Conforto- The scorching-hot Conforto has a near perfect matchup with the inexperienced Dinelson Lamet. The right handed Lamet will make his major league debut and Conforto will have a very high chance of spoiling it. He has shown no signs of slowing down and until he does, he will be a great DFS pick against righties.

Outfield: $3,600 Cody Bellinger- The rookie has continued to shine and keep on churning out great hitting performances. He will look to have yet another big game in a strong matchup with the righty Michael Wacha. Anytime that he faces a right handed pitcher, there is a high chance that he hits one out.
