Pitcher: $6,100 Adalberto Mejia- Don’t get me wrong; there is definitely risk involved with this pick. However, Mejia could be in for a big game since he is facing a Trout-less Angels offense. Without Trout, the Angels are a far from formidable foe, meaning Mejia could have the chance to dominate. He comes in as the cheapest pitching of the option, giving you plenty of flexibility for the rest of your lineup.

Catcher: $3,400 Gary Sanchez- Given the paucity of options at the catcher position, Sanchez stands out as the only elite option. Marco Estrada has enjoyed a fairly successful season so far, but Sanchez should be able to prevail in this matchup.

First Base: $3,500 Hanley Ramirez- Ramirez hasn’t had the best of seasons to date, but he has destroyed left handed pitchers, making it a good thing that he is set to face a subpar one in Wade Miley. Miley has the tendency to struggle mightily at times which means Hanley could be in for a big game.

Second Base: $3,300 Jonathan Schoop- Schoop is set to face the lefty Eduardo Rodriguez who has had an excellent season to this point. Nevertheless, Schoop is known to far much better against left handed pitchers and should be able to carve out a solid day at the plate.

Third Base: $4,100 Josh Donaldson- Donaldson isn’t quite the MVP winning player he was a couple of years ago, but he is a solid pick anytime that he is facing a below average lefty. He is set to face C.C. Sabathia in what will be an excellent matchup for Donaldson. Donaldson has performed quite well in his past few games and that should carry over for tonight.

Shortstop: $2,900 Chris Owings- The Arizona Diamondbacks are my favorite stack candidate on the slate seeing as they are set to face the inexperienced Jeff Locke. Owings tends to destroy lefties such as Locke and that should be true tonight. A big game could be in the works for Owings.

Outfield: $3,600 Yasmany Tomas- As I said in the aforementioned paragraph, the Diamondbacks draw a dream matchup with Jeff Locke. Tomas is yet another player who obliterates lefties and should be able to do so tonight. Tomas has a relatively high floor, but there is also plenty of home run potential.

Outfield: $4,300 Aaron Judge- The final two picks of the article both play for the New York Yankees. As I stated earlier, the Yankees will face Marco Estrada in a matchup that they could do some damage in. That is especially true of Aaron Judge as the rookie is pacing the MLB in home runs. His phenomenal play should be able to continue tonight against Estrada.

Outfield: $3,700 Brett Gardner- Gardner has been on a torrid hot stretch as he has ten hits and four home runs in his last nine games. You can expect more of the same from him tonight. Because of his excellent contact, Gardner always has a relatively high floor, but the power he has shown recently gives him plenty of potential for a big game.
