Pitcher: $7,200 Tyson Ross- Ross is a very risky play seeing as he made his first start of the year only a few weeks ago. He didn’t show any signs of regressing after coming back from an injury as he was able to turn in a dominant performance in his first start. His price is very low due to him coming back from a major injury, which gives you plenty of flexibility with the rest of your lineup. This pick could end up paying major dividends for you.

Catcher: $2,900 Yasmani Grandal- Grandal fares much better against righties, making it a good thing that he will face one in Ian Kennedy. There aren’t that many great options at the catcher position, which only makes starting Grandal an easier decision. He is an excellent value play that offers some upside as well.

First Base: $3,500 Yonder Alonso- Alonso is primed for a big night with an excellent matchup against Andrew Moore. Moore is vastly inexperienced, and hopefully Alonso will be able to capitalize. At this price point he is a bargain for the production that he brings.

Second Base: $3,600 Rougned Odor- Odor hasn’t had the best of starts to the year, but he has gone on a few hot streaks. Luckily he is on one of those hot streaks right now. Most of his value rests in his ability to hit home runs, and he should have a good chance to do just that against Ricky Noclaso. Seeing as how they draw a great matchup with Noclaso, the Texas Rangers are a potential stack candidate.

Third Base: $4,100 Jose Ramirez- Ramirez has enjoyed an excellent start to what has been an breakout campaign. His matchup with Justin Verlander is one that he will look to take advantage of, seeing as how Verlander is only a shell of his former self. Also, the last time Ramirez faced Verlander, he ended up having a monstrous multi-homer game. Ramirez is a very safe pick, but he offers a good deal of upside as well.

Shortstop: $3,800 Jean Segura- Segura has enjoyed plenty of success so far this season, and he should find more of that success against Oakland Athletics. His ability to get on base makes him a very safe play. You will be hard-pressed to find an option this strong at the shortstop position for a relatively inexpensive price.

Outfield: $3,000 Nomar Mazara- Mazara draws an excellent matchup with Ricky Noclaso, meaning a big game could be in the works for him. He isn’t that safe of a pick, but his track record against righties gives you no reason to worry.

Outfield: $3,100 David Peralta- Peralta is another player who should benefit from the Diamondbacks’ matchup with Luis Castillo. Castillo is very inexperienced, which means the D-Backs shouldn’t have that many issues putting runs on the board. Peralta has a relatively high floor, and his home run potential means he could be in for a big game.

Outfield: $3,400 Lonnie Chisenhall- Chisenhall has had a surprisingly strong start to the year, and his success should carry over for tonight. Given their excellent matchup with Justin Verlander, the Cleveland Indians are a very strong stack candidate. Chisenhall has a relatively high floor, but he has excellent home run potential as well.
