Pitcher: $8,100 Dylan Bundy- Ubaldo Jimenez was able to strike out eleven Oakland Athletics hitters, and Bundy should be able to match that. Bundy has had a tumultuous season so far, but he has done better recently. He doesn’t have that much of a floor, but he does have a very high ceiling.
Catcher: $2,900 Matt Wieters- This price seems way too low for the type of production he can offer. Wieters will have the opportunity to have a big game as he draws a matchup with Chris Stratton. At a position with a dearth of quality options, Wieters stands out as an excellent pick.
First Base: $2,600 Yonder Alonso- Alonso is primed for a big night seeing as how he draws an excellent matchup with J.C. Ramirez. Ramirez has a propensity to struggle, and hopefully Alonso will be able to capitalize. At this price point he is a bargain for the production that he brings.
Second Base: $3,800 Robinson Cano- Given their excellent matchup with J.C. Ramirez, the Seattle Mariners are a very strong stack candidate. Cano fares much better against righites, meaning he will have a high chance to turn in a big game. He has a relatively high floor with a very high ceiling as well.
Third Base: $2,900 Jedd Gyorko- Albeit that he is a righty himself, Gyorko performs much better against right handed pitchers. He has enjoyed a good deal of success this year, and that should continue against Lucas Sims. Gyorko carries some risk, but his massive upside makes up for nearly all of that risk.
Shortstop: $3,800 Corey Seager- Seager has had a very strong season, and that should continue tonight. He absolutely obliterates righties, making it a good thing that he will face one in Julio Teheran. He has a fairly high floor as well as a very high ceiling.
Outfield: $3,100 Josh Reddick- Reddick’s numbers are almost polar opposites for when he faces righties and for when he faces lefties. Luckily he is facing an inferior righty so Reddick should be in for a solid night.
Outfield: $3,600 Adam Duvall- The Cincinnati Reds’ matchup with Brent Suter is one that I want at least some exposure to. Albeit the fact that Duvall strikes out more than most, the potential for a big game is always there. With his power he can hit one out on any pitch and should hopefully be able to against Suter.
Outfield: $4,000 Michael Conforto- Conforto has proved this year that he is far more than just a platoon player. He has made the most of his extended role, and his success should carry over for tonight. Conforto absolutely obliterates righties, making his matchup with Aaron Nola one that Conforto should be able to take advantage of.
