This slate feels relatively small compared to the amount of games that Monday slates usually boast. Nevertheless, there are plenty of interesting places to pay up at and some strong value plays as well.

This is only a first reaction to the players on a given slate. If you would like a FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball lineup, you can purchase one below. Also, our year-long pass is now available for 2018-2019. The year-long pass gives you a lineup a day for each day of the year for each sport and is only $299.99. Also, if you purchase it before 2018 starts you receive a FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball lineup for each remaining day of 2017. More information is below.

Point Guard: $9,300 Damian Lillard- This price feels way too low for Dame D.O.L.L.A. He is nearly averaging 5x value at this price point and should be able to attain at least that tonight. Ownership on him always is very low and that only makes him a more enticing play. The Golden State Warriors play at such a fast pace and that causes their opponents to reap in the fantasy points. This game should stay close and that only means more time on the court for Lillard. He is on one of his hot streaks right now and I will continue to ride the hot hand until he goes cold.

Shooting Guard: $11,800 James Harden- Man do I like James Harden tonight. He draws a matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans and their subpar perimeter defense. That bodes very well for him having a big game. It also helps that Harden is shooting the ball at an amazing clip these past couple of games. He is one of the rare players in the Association that has 80 point fantasy potential. Because of the possibility of that occurring, I will be firing Harden up in every single one of my tournament lineups. He is also a strong cash game play.

Small Forward: $4,500 Wesley Johnson- Danilo Gallinari has come back, but Johnson is still a viable option due to Blake Griffin’s injury. Johnson has continued to put together. The Toronto Raptors have been stingy when it comes to defending opposing small forwards. However, Johnson’s value doesn’t rest in his ability to score the basketball, but rather in his ability to rack up defensive stats.

Power Forward: $5,100 Marvin Williams- Williams will continue to be a strong play for as long as Frank Kaminsky in injured. He has a very high floor, but has a lofty ceiling as well given his ability to heat up from deep. If Draymond Green doesn’t play, Jordan Bell would become a must start option.

Center: $12,000 DeMarcus Cousins- Cousins is an absolute usage monster; even when Anthony Davis on the court. The only thing that can truly deter him from having a huge game is getting ejected. As long as he keeps his emotions in check he should be able to score at least 60 fantasy points. Cousins has a near limitless ceiling due to his scoring, rebounding, passing, and defensive ability. He always performs better in fast paced games and he couldn’t really find a faster one than a matchup with the Houston Rockets. Marc Gasol is also an intriguing option here.
