I have taken a bit of a break from writing these articles the last couple of days, but I am back to posting them now. Tonight’s slate is probably my favorite slate from the last couple of weeks. There are plenty of strong pay-up options as well as some excellent value plays.

This is only a first reaction to the players on a given slate. If you would like a FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball lineup, you can purchase one below. Also, our year-long pass is now available for 2018-2019. The year-long pass gives you a lineup a day for each day of the year for each sport and is only $299.99. Also, if you purchase it before 2018 starts you receive a FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball lineup for each remaining day of 2017. More information is below.

Point Guard: $7,300 Lonzo Ball- Ball’s entrance into the Association has been heavily scrutinized. A lot of that has to do with his loud and brash father LaVar. Lonzo has struggled to find his shot early this year and it has been heavily reported on. Nevertheless, he has shown the kind of immense potential that could lead to him being a Russell Westbrook-type fantasy stud. Earlier this year he dropped 19 points, 12 rebounds, 13 assists, 4 blocks, and 3 steals. In doing so he dethroned LeBron James as the youngest player to ever record a triple-double. His price has spiked due to his dominant performance, but it is still fairly reasonable. Lonzo’s matchup could not be any better as he gets to face the fast paced Golden State Warriors.

Shooting Guard: $7,400 Donovan Mitchell- Mitchell has been a very pleasant surprise for the Utah Jazz as he has been arguably their best player this year. The Houston Rockets have been stout defensively this year, but they have still given up plenty of fantasy points due to the fast pace they play at. He should also draw the defense of James Harden which is lackluster at best. Mitchell is a relatively safe bet to achieve 5x value and could realistically hit 7x value.

Small Forward: $7,800 TJ Warren- I don’t think there is a more volatile player in the NBA than TJ Warren. His fantasy production has been all over the map this year which has made starting him a hassle. However, if you are able to anticipate one of his big games, he has the potential to win you a tournament. He is in an excellent spot to succeed against the Dallas Mavericks in a game that should stay close. Warren will now be the number one option on the Phoenix Suns’ offense and that will translate to plenty of fantasy production for him.

Power Forward: $9,900 Ben Simmons- Simmons creates a matchup nightmare every time he steps onto the court. The rookie has looked like an experienced veteran and has filled up the stat sheet like one. He should be able to net a triple-double and throw in some defensive stats as well. Simmons does even better when Joel Embiid is sitting on the sidelines and that will be the case tonight as Embiid has already been ruled out due to rest.

Center: $10,700 Karl-Anthony Towns- His Timberwolves have gotten off to a slow start this year, but that is in no part because of him. As he showed last year, he has the potential to put up some master stat lines. He will face the Portland Trail Blazers in what sets up to be a fast paced game. The Trail Blazers should roll with a small ball lineup more often that not tonight given the fact that Jusuf Nurkic should still be on a minute restriction. Ownership will be fairly on Towns and that only makes him a more enticing play.
